Not really! He still thinks Tavros is a really cute and great kid. Protective probably isn't quite the right word for it yet, but he has this general desire for Tavros to be happy. '^' And to help Tavros be happy.
Cat reeeally loves Naha. She is a warm and solid and accepting presence in his life and he appreciates that so much. But...at the same time it makes him really anxious to please her because he doesn't want to lose that. So sometimes he will modulate his behavior around her -- not exactly lying, but sometimes he will form his responses to her so they fit what he thinks she most wants to hear. Being in her heart will probably soothe his anxiety a bit, because now he knows that she really accepts and wants him. '^'!!!
Naha had a really easy time accepting Cat. Generally, her attitude is to accept Ruby as hers on principle, but it was easier with him than with some of the other people who have come through. She has a lot of affection for him.
Also, clearly he belongs with them since deaging turned him into a real cat.
Awwww! Naha really does see Ruby as kind of... adopted children. And she is a terrible parent, but that's okay, because she looooves them, and she loves them all differently because they are all different, but looooooves. idk, teams as teams are sort of a weird concept for her. Which might seem odd because she really is very invested in hers, but she has a hard time being like this team is like this, and that team is like that. Ruby is her family, though. '-'
Does Cat have any particularly good off-team friends? :x
At this point probably Whiskey and Kitsunebi, though he's not terribly close to either! Whiskey is obviously from his world and is a potential source of information that's fun to poke into flailing, and Kitsunebi is.....well. Cat isn't sure what's going on there. But Kitsunebi seems fun to be around and after their little pounce fight while they were deaged he feels...a bit of connection with him. So there's that.
How does Naha feel about being part of a heart game?
She's a little unsure about it. HONESTLY, she would have been okay with most of the people who were in her heart being there, but it wasn't something she consented to, which is troubling.
Not really! He's taken it mostly as a statement of fact so far and doesn't have any particularly negative connotations with the idea. Or positive ones, for that matter. He has some ambivalent uneasy feelings, mostly due to being deaged and having multiple people pick him up and carry him around all the time, but overall it's just kind of...what he is and the way things are. Not much to fuss about. v('-')v
Does Naha have any theories about why he deaged to cat-hood?
He doesn't quite know what to do about them apparently sharing a name. He also gets that Cheshire taking him for a walk was sort of unusual, maybe. Persona Cheshire just weirds him out, mostly. He doesn't feel like Cheshire is hostile, but...just weird. 8(b
What is Senji's first thread impression of the Handmaid? :o
Chrono: I think her impression of him is largely dominated by the fact that his insistence on her...writing stuff down about Alternia sort of weirds her out. Mostly because that kind of random concern is not a thing she was used to, and also because the rule of the Alternian empire was Not Nice and...well, I'm pretty sure no one in her universe would care about Alternia culture or history except for their historians. Other than that he seems like a person who has been around the block a bit and...while she doesn't actively wish to get to know, well, anyone she did find his company to be not unpleasant and wouldn't mind more of it if things happened in that way.
Tide: THERE ARE . . . THE BEGINNINGS OF EMPATHY . . . ISH . . . or at least a vague sense of "I know that feel". She is vaguely curious about how or why people know him butttt not curious enough to pursue...it...
It's sort of hard to talk about the Handmaid's feelings about people because a lot of her opinions are heavily muted by apathy and basically zero desire to actively engage with the world around her. '-'b So her impressions end up more along the lines of pleasant/unpleasant to have around.
Chrono is intrigued by her, but he's also... just someone who will avoid prying even if he's really, really curious. He wants to know more about her people and their history because they ping him REALLY HARD of his own from what little he knows, so it's sort of... a morbid "do I really want to know" thing :') But he urged her to write it down because he thinks that any culture should be remembered, even the awful ones. No one would learn from past mistakes otherwise.
TIDE... well Tide is extremely crazy right now, but he found the Handmaid to be by far the most tolerable of the people he's met so far. I DON'T WANT TO SAY HE LIKES HER OUTRIGHT because he isss... very himself, but he actually didn't mind talking to her at all, where with most other people he wanted to stab them in the face for the duration. So that is... definitely something! He wouldn't be opposed to interacting with her more, which is also definitely something.
Do you think she could/will learn how to break out of that apathy in time :|a Especially surrounded by so many people and their FEELINGS!!
I think it's a definite possibility, because the apathy is something she definitely developed as a reaction to her circumstances. On the other hand it issss a very entrenched attitude so it will definitely take time and effort. On the other other hand, she is super unused to kindness so it really catches her off guard and gives people more room to influence her than there might be otherwise. On the other other other hand, she thinks breaking out of her apathy is kind of a pointless thing to strive for because she's going to dead in 2-4 human years anyway. Fortunately her apathy extends to being apathetic about whether or not people succeed in rousing her out of it, so. \:D/ I am excited to see how Thusia changes her.
How is Tide dealing with being alive other than, uh, badly?
Aerta is pleasant to have around. Uhhh like I have said before the Handmaid's opinions are currently heavily muted by apathy and her desire for connections with people is like zero. But...Aerta is a nice presence to have around/be around. She doesn't get why Aerta wants to decorate her horns so much but also doesn't care enough to stop her. It's kind of novel having someone like parts of her anatomy rather than seeing them as terrifying harbingers of the Alternian empire. \0_0/
SHE IS IMMEDIATELY DERE and decided to just. Claim her.
Like she may not have the details but she knows a tool when she sees one, and this kid has it even worse than she did! Which like. Hmm. She can see that it sucks, but what are you going to do. Sometimes things are just hideous. And for however awful it was, or whatever awful ends she was used for, Aerta doesn't reaaalllllly care. She's pretty and she's cool and WE ARE GONNA BE FRANS.
Aerta doesn't have a lot of hope for "teach her how not to be a tool and make choices" but is going to focus on "do stuff and maybe if you find some of it fun then so be it!"

Also.
People keep fussing.
Which makes her think something went wrong.
But in the end, she's not too fussed really.
